Food Service Team Lead

Blenz Coffee GranDavie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Train and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food and beverages.
- Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
- Ensure that all food and beverage products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a fair and respectful manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of staff hours, sales, and inventory.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Personal Qualities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced coffee shop environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all food and beverage products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
