Job Title: Guest Services Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guest Services Director to join our team at NLG - Next Level Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to lead our Guest Services department and contribute to the success of our hotel in Souris, PEI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Guest Services department, overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of Guest Services representatives.
  • Manage front desk operations, including room bookings, charges, and guest services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of front desk supplies.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the Guest Services department.
Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in Tourism & Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Responsible Beverage Server certification.
  • Mental Health First Aid and Standard First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Leadership training is an asset.
  • Three years' experience working in hospitality, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google productivity software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and embody corporate values.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own work schedule.
  • Possesses attention to detail and time management skills.
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
