Job Summary

SGS is seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating inspections to ensure their proper implementation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily and weekly tasks to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and prepare documents related to requests received, including planning inspections and assignments.
  • Participate in the drafting of service offerings and develop business relationships with clients.
  • Ensure quality procedures and OHS best practices are followed in all work performed.
  • Collaborate with inspectors to plan inspection work and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure work carried out by inspectors is done in accordance with required standards.
  • Interact with clients to ensure good communication and understand/manage expectations.
  • Prepare and/or review reports to ensure they comply with the mandate and specifications.
  • Inform clients promptly when problems occur.
Requirements
  • College Diploma in a technical field combined with significant and relevant experience.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the petroleum products industry and/or supervision of a work group in an industrial setting.
  • Good knowledge of standards such as API, ASTM, SIRAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of transformation processes and transfers involving petroleum products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and composition.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail.
