Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team at Meritas Recruiting Inc. in Calgary. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support to our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, annual information forms, and other external reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain internal reporting systems, including monthly financial analysis and IFRS reporting.
  • Conduct complex financial calculations, address accounting issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, manage ad hoc projects, and provide financial reporting support as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and CPA designation.
  • Two to five years of post-designation experience in financial reporting, preferably in the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in IFRS and public company reporting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
