In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Precision Specialist will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, as well as other precision equipment. This individual will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production. Additionally, they will repair machine tools and parts, set up and adjust production machinery/tools, and fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines and other precision equipment.
  • Repair machine tools and parts.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools.
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments.
  • Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports.
  • Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or related field.
