Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Alpha 1 Cabinets Ltd. as a Precision Manufacturing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, setting up and adjusting production machinery, and maintaining precision measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery to achieve high-tolerance fabrication.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

  • Able to work accurately and efficiently.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
