Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Startec Compression & Process. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Instrumentation Installation and Calibration: Install, calibrate, and test instruments to ensure accurate and reliable readings.
- Tubing and Support Installation: Bend and install tubing and required support to ensure proper function of equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, quality checks, and respond to equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and calibration of instruments.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare documentation per company standards, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Journeyperson Certification: Hold a Journeyperson certification in Instrumentation or a related trade.
- Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience in instrumentation installation, testing, and calibration within a fabrication environment.
- Commissioning and Start-up Experience: Have experience with commissioning and start-up of equipment.
- Instrument and Electrical Troubleshooting: Possess strong instrument and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Communication and Teamwork: Be well-organized, have excellent communication skills, and work well in a team environment.
