About the Role

This is a full-time position for an Instrumentation Specialist and Sales and Support Representative. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of process control instruments. The specialist will also be responsible for providing sales and support services to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of process control instruments
  • Provide sales and support services to customers
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements
  • Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate or an Apprentice Instrumentation card
  • Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: CSTS 2020, H2S Alive and Standard First Aid
  • AWP, Fall Protection, TDG, WHMIS, and CSO tickets are assets
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required
  • Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated success working as an instrumentation technician/inside/outside sales person
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, twisting, etc.
  • Ability to travel to the USA, UK, and EU for training when required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in process control instrumentation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
  • Knowledge of calibration techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Technical diploma or equivalent in instrumentation or a related field
