Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement capacity frameworks and project plans to improve healthcare system performance.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform healthcare system planning and policy development.
  • Provide expert advice and input on healthcare system plans and project management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system-level barriers and gaps and facilitate engagement to improve healthcare system performance.
  • Leverage system knowledge and relationships to identify and support innovative partnerships and programs to increase system capacity and improve patient flow.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in health administration, health planning, business administration, or a related field with a Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment, leading projects, business development, health system planning, stakeholder engagement, and client services.
  • Experience in research and data analysis, project management, and monitoring and reporting in northern and/or rural Ontario is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of northern Ontario geography and communities.
  • Good knowledge of and proven ability to apply multiple planning and analysis methodologies.
  • Understanding of the current and changing dynamics of the Ontario healthcare system and issues.
