Job Title: Senior Network Architect

At Iamgold Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to lead our global network architecture efforts. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architecture solutions to support business needs
  • Manage and maintain network equipment and servers
  • Ensure reliable system performance through active monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Establish and configure organization-wide networks
  • Provide comprehensive software and hardware training and support to personnel
  • Coordinate project task delivery in a multi-function environment
  • Support start-up projects that require IT implementation
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards and support Cyber Security efforts
Requirements:
  • Technical training in Computer Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of network configuration and administration
  • Good working knowledge of VSAT, Linux, and Unix
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications like Excel and Word
  • Strong logic skills, systems analysis experience, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
