Job Title: Senior Network Architect

At Iamgold Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to lead our global network architecture efforts. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architecture solutions to support business needs
  • Manage and maintain network equipment and servers to ensure high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure aligns with business objectives
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT teams to ensure network infrastructure is properly configured and maintained
Requirements:
  • Technical training in Computer Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of network configuration and administration
  • Proficiency in VSAT, Linux, and Unix, as well as word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • English language proficiency to collaborate effectively with partners
