Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network infrastructure to support the company's IT needs, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.
  2. Network Administration: Manage and maintain network equipment, servers, and systems, ensuring reliable system performance through active monitoring and troubleshooting.
  3. Project Planning and Analysis: Contribute to project systems planning and analysis, ensuring that network infrastructure meets the company's IT needs.
  4. Network Security: Ensure compliance with IAMGOLD corporate standards and support Cyber Security efforts, maintaining the integrity and performance of the company's network systems.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other IT systems.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, configuration, and administration, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. Technical training in Computer Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications like Excel and Word is essential. The candidate must possess strong logic skills, systems analysis experience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good working knowledge of VSAT, Linux, and Unix is an asset. Experience with network equipment and servers is also an asset.
