We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Mattawa River Resort. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for planning and preparing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase our resort's culinary expertise and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance and support to kitchen staff.

As a Head Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
