About Our Client

Our client is a leading construction company specializing in new build industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) construction projects across Southwestern Ontario.

Job Description:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of ICI new builds. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, setting clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Budget and Resource Allocation: Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation to optimize project outcomes.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay on track and within established parameters.
  • Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of quality throughout the construction process, adhering to all industry regulations and standards.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong and positive relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.

The Successful Applicant:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, specifically in ICI new builds.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the construction industry, relevant regulations, and best practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate project teams to achieve excellence.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex project challenges effectively.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
