Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre.

Salary: CAD $28.91/hour

About the Job

This relief full-time position is available until December 20, 2024, or until the return of the incumbent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and supplies in operating rooms and other areas of the hospital.

This includes:

  • Cleansing, decontaminating, checking, testing, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing supplies, instruments, and equipment
  • Performing related clerical duties

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognized Sterile Supply Processing program or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certificate
  • One year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
