About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our virtual production stage, ensuring seamless integration of technology and creativity. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges of virtual production.
Key Responsibilities- Exhibit mastery in all aspects of software development, with a special focus on Unreal Engine.
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced software solutions to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the virtual production stage.
- Direct and support a team of developers in the creation of bespoke automation tools tailored to the specific needs of virtual production.
- Provide real-time technical support during production, promptly addressing and resolving any issues that arise on set.
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly in Unreal Engine.
- Proven track record in tool building and automation within a virtual production or similar environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially under the pressure of live production settings.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
