Position Overview

Alteo Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cloud Analyst for a permanent role. This position is essential for the design, deployment, management, and enhancement of our cloud solutions.

You will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure, Network, and Operations teams to implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Platform Administration: Ensure the effective management of the cloud platform to maintain its availability and reliability.
    • Design, deploy, and sustain cloud solutions utilizing services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Collaborate with project teams to define technical platform requirements.
    • Implement cost management strategies to optimize cloud infrastructure.
    • Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
    • Monitor the performance of applications and cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
    • Manage production incidents and ensure timely resolutions.
    • Provide technical support for internal teams regarding cloud-related challenges.
    • Facilitate evolution and migration processes in line with technical recommendations.
  • System Security Management: Ensure the security of systems to maintain platform availability and reliability.
    • Implement appropriate protective measures for data and application security.
    • Monitor and escalate security incidents as necessary.
    • Participate in security audits of the platform.
  • Colleague Development: Contribute to the skill enhancement of team members to improve overall performance.
    • Provide coaching and support to colleagues.
Candidate Profile:
  • DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent qualification
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Experience in the electronic payment sector is an asset
  • Proficient in designing and implementing Cloud architectures
  • Expertise in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCI
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of cloud environment security
  • Proficient in resolving production issues
  • Understanding of databases
  • Knowledge of network architecture (network protocols, WAN, LAN, etc.)
  • Strong customer orientation
