Job Overview

In collaboration with senior management, you will define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing project plans and associated communications documents
  • Estimating resources and personnel required to achieve project goals
  • Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Assessing the need for additional staff and/or consultants and liaising with department managers for acquisition of required personnel
  • Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Tracking project milestones and deliverables

The Successful Applicant

We seek a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a track record of leading complex projects valued at $100MM+ in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 10+ years of experience in a construction project management role
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar field
  • Experience overseeing commercial and institutional projects, primarily new builds and additions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external customers and members of an extended team
  • Experience leading, supporting, and managing project teams and providing regular feedback on performance
  • Strong knowledge of construction trades and ability to understand drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and MS Project
