About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at 2143261 Ontario Inc. as a General Construction Labourer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Supporting Medical Examiners: Provide assistance to medical examiners as needed.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Paving and Raking: Pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Clean-up: Clean and pile salvaged materials, clean up chemical spills, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Traffic Direction: Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various locations. The work environment can be dusty, and the tasks may involve repetitive activities.

Requirements
  • Team Player: We are looking for a team player who is hardworking and willing to learn.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: The work schedule is 35 to 40 hours per week.
