Job Title: Construction Labourer

Pahals Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and operating heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections on equipment
  • Operate cranes, pile driving cranes, and other heavy equipment
  • Assist in assembling tower cranes and other equipment
  • Help medical examiners and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Operate locomotive cranes and other equipment
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime as required
