About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bricklayer Foreman/Supervisor to join our team at Humo Restorations Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of bricklayers and other construction personnel
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate and schedule construction activities and resources
    • Monitor and control project costs, including materials and labor
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines
    • Identify and mitigate potential hazards on construction sites
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
    • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in construction
  • Work Environment
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
    • Work at heights and in noisy environments
  • Work Setting
    • Construction sites, including commercial, residential, and restoration projects
  • Personal Qualities
    • Organized and reliable with excellent time management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
