Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager, Regional Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the maintenance operations of our LCL and SDM retail stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and lead the maintenance operations of our LCL and SDM retail stores.
- Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
- Implement maintenance plans that align with business objectives.
- Address all vendor/coordinator and store operations issues escalations via phone/email/Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Participate in store operations meetings, provide P&L updates and or process changes.
- Regularly meet with store operations team to review current conditions, identify Health and Safety issues, and to audit vendor performance.
- Provide technical support as required with Landlord related items.
- Able to work in a team environment and support other RMMs with regional issues and during OOO (out of office) times.
- Available to work flexible hours and action emergencies as required.
- Build clear SOW (scope of work) for RFP projects as needed.
- Participate in Vendor Management and Selection Processes.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in maintenance/property management, preferably in commercial or retail property management.
- Knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, lighting, and familiar with grocery store type equipment.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address maintenance related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with computerized workflow management systems (ie Officetrax) and other maintenance and finance related software.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
