About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Lactalis Canada. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead our maintenance team and contribute to the success of our organization.

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the efficient operation of our plant.
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff and provide guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve maintenance and production-related issues.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and ensure that all maintenance activities are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and good business standards.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a leadership position in maintenance and project engineering.
  • Manufacturing experience within food-related processing and high-speed packaging systems.
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems, mechanical and process engineering, electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA Controls.
  • Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Change management skills and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
