Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Calgary Court Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Develop and implement budget and cost estimates for food and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations and performance
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and delivery
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
