Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Uniform Garment (N.A.) Ltd. in a permanent position.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant machinery, ensuring optimal production efficiency and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair plant machinery, including electrical and electronic controls, lathes, power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for repairs and maintenance.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and install new equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in plant maintenance or related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
