Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Five Guys Burgers and Fries. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they have a positive experience at our restaurant.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
Work Environment

As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring you to be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37 hours per week.
