Farm Supervisor Job Description

Northern Cherries Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement soil fertility programs to optimize crop growth and development.
  • Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality and provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain quality control and production records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
