Agricultural Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Operations Supervisor to join our team at Randhawa Farms Ltd. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient management of our agricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate the activities of farm workers to achieve optimal crop yields and quality.
- Implement sustainable farming practices, including crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology, and cover crops.
- Monitor and maintain soil fertility programs, including mixing fertilizer and ensuring optimal soil conditions.
- Supervise and oversee the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain quality control and production records, including monitoring crop development and yields.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in agricultural operations or a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Spanish; Castilian language skills are an asset.
