Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Viandes Lafrance. As a key member of our meat processing team, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for sale.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer orders
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
  • Attention to detail
