About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Viandes Lafrance. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for processing and sale.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Meat Cutting and Preparation**: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to prepare for processing or cutting.
  • **Meat Wrapping and Packaging**: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale.
  • **Meat Trimming and Preparation**: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
  • **Meat Weighing**: Weigh meats for sale.
  • **Meat Removal**: Remove bones from meat.
Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter at Viandes Lafrance, you will work in a fast-paced meat processing plant environment. You will be exposed to odours and work in a cold/refrigerated environment.

Requirements
  • **Education**: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • **Experience**: Experience is an asset.
  • **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail is required to ensure accurate meat cutting and preparation.
