About the Role:

At STARFLEET CONSTRUCTION INC., we are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker Specialist to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and fabricating custom cabinets and other woodwork products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form wood components
  • Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets to maximize storage
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 23 kg
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
