Safety Communications Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Communications Officer to join our team in downtown Edmonton on a 6-month contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective communication of safety information to our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate information to clients and stakeholders through various communication channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in emergency communications or a similar environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles and formats.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
