Safety Coordinator

Job Summary
Safety Boss Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill a dispatch position in the Edmonton Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain professionalism and proper phone etiquette at all times.
- Receive calls 24 hours/day while on shift, with a rotational work schedule.
- Provide adequate assistance and communication for all ongoing jobs.
- Identify locations and coordinate the mobilization of resources (personnel and equipment).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all job-related calls and information.
- Provide safety support and suggestions to client representatives when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation regarding hours of service and work cycles.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex data.
- Extreme organization skills are a must.
- Analyze and solve problems.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Multitask successfully.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of industry experience.
- Previous or current dispatching of industrial safety services.
- General knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry.
- Emergency dispatch or similar training.
