Englobe is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist to join its quality department for clients in the hydroelectric field. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine quality surveillance of the contractor's production on-site, including witnessing the contractor's inspection and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control tests with instruments to verify electrical tests, such as insulation resistance tests and continuity tests.
  • Identify and raise non-conformity reports, reviewing contractor's non-conformity reports and verifying corrective actions.
  • Review quality records and release hold points established in the inspection and test plans.
  • Review contractor's quality reports.
  • Prepare daily reports summarizing contractor's quality performance and quality issues.
Requirements
  • College diploma, technologist diploma or university degree in electrical engineering or any other experience considered equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Available to travel regularly to remote areas on rotation.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC activities.
  • Knowledge of various electrical testing methods.
  • Knowledge of hydroelectric power plant equipment.
