Responsibilities:


  • Deliver high-quality swim lessons based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum, promoting water safety and confidence in our students.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations, making rescues and administering first aid when necessary.
  • Evaluate students' performance, ensuring ongoing improvement and progress.
  • Interact with parents/guardians to develop students' swim skills and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Use problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges faced by students.
  • Inspect pool areas before and after each class, reporting any maintenance or cleanliness issues to management.
  • Ensure proper storage of pool equipment and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Report accidents and incidents to management, completing required documentation and paperwork.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.


Requirements:


  • Must be 16 years old on application.
  • Current Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross or NL certification.
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED certification.
  • Previous experience delivering high-quality swimming lessons is preferred.
