Swim Instructor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School - Ontario. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons that cater to the needs of each student
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe learning environment
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Interact with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and techniques

Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years old on application
  • Current Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross or NL certification
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED certification
  • Previous experience delivering swimming lessons is an asset
