Job Summary

As a key member of our team at Home Hardware, we are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with experience in managing staff and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily operations, ensuring seamless customer service and efficient sales processes.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including managing inventory, staff scheduling, and customer engagement.
  • Manage staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure team success.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, aligning with customer needs and market trends.
  • Implement price and credit policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and value for our customers.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Determine staffing requirements, ensuring the right team is in place to meet customer needs.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
  • Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.

Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in retail sales and operations management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
