Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mary Browns. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely meal preparation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members responsible for preparing and portioning food, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
  • Collaborate with chefs to prepare food order summaries.
Requirements:
  • Must have knowledge of various culinary genres and be able to supervise and check the assembly of trays.
  • Establish work schedules and manage the workload of 1-2 people.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and possess efficient interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
  • Show flexibility and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:
  • Fair salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
