About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in our global fulfillment network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new software services and tools from scratch, improving existing systems and processes.
  • Create simple solutions for complex business and operational problems, leveraging machine learning, computer vision, and other innovative technologies.
  • Work closely with business, physical processes, and operations to optimize systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions, solving complex problems and driving business growth.
  • Learn how to build robust solutions that operate at Amazon scale, leveraging massive graph and non-relational databases, vision, and machine learning systems.
  • Collaborate with senior technical leaders to review and improve designs and solutions, driving excellence in software development.
  • Operate in a set of interconnected small teams of engineers to build solutions that impact Amazon's customers around the world.
