Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at GTA Skilled Trades. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing or replacing defective parts, to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Installation and Setup: Install new machinery and equipment, and set up existing systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate hoisting and lifting equipment, as well as other heavy machinery, to move and position equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
