Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic Millwright to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including flow wrappers and metal detectors.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Make adjustments to equipment as needed, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Conduct all maintenance activities safely, adhering to GMP standards.
  • Responsible for both corrective and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment.
  • Implement equipment/system improvements, researching and testing new equipment.
  • Serve as the first responder and verifier in emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical work, encompassing setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
  • Preferred possession of a valid Industrial skilled trades license (Millwright) from Ontario or any Canadian province.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with good mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to report to a 4 day / 10-hour shift.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
