Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Dauntless Classic Construction Services Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 32-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare cheques for payroll, reconcile accounts, and post journal entries as required
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve financial processes and reduce errors
  • Collaborate with senior accounting staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in accounting or related field
  • 1-7 months of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
