About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Light Duty Cleaner at 1722772 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a combination of sweeping and mopping techniques.
  • Dusting and Polishing Furniture: Dust all furniture and fixtures, and polish any surfaces as required.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning Carpets and Rugs: Vacuum all carpets and rugs, and clean any stains or spills promptly.
  • Performing Light Housekeeping Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as changing linens and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Washing Windows, Walls, and Ceilings: Clean all windows, walls, and ceilings to a high standard.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as sweeping and mopping, for extended periods.
  • Physically Demanding: Lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Alternate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
Weight Handling
  • Up to 30 lbs: Lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
Personal Suitability
  • Organized: Prioritize tasks and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Reliability: Be punctual and reliable, and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Will Train: No prior experience required, as we provide on-the-job training.
  • Permanent Position: This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
