Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Connecting Dots - Dave Barr. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, wax and polish floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Day care centre or nursery school.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player.
  • Experience: Will train.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
