Restaurant Operations Manager

At Still Waters Plate & Pour, we are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training to ensure that all team members are meeting their goals.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff on new procedures and policies, and ensure that all team members are up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, and that all team members are aware of their responsibilities in this area.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and ensure that all team members are aware of their role in promoting the restaurant.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
