We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Specialist to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. This is an exciting opportunity for a quantitative professional with strong analytical skills and experience in model development, validation, or front-office quant roles.

The successful candidate will participate in the development and maintenance of our continuous model monitoring (CMM) framework, working closely with cross-functional teams, including model validators, model developers, business stakeholders, IT, auditors, and support functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing metrics to monitor model performance
  • Drafting business requirements for metric implementation to IT support and detailed descriptions of metric calculation methodologies
  • Analyzing metrics results and managing breaches in collaboration with the first line of defense and validation teams
  • Maintaining data quality and consistency across different systems and management reporting tools used by our risk management department

We require a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics. A Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in model development, validation, or a front-office quant role. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL are essential, along with experience working with large datasets and quantitative analysis.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of models across the business and support functions. As a Quantitative Risk Specialist, you will collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States. Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken.
