Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Patient Care Assistant at Heart2Care Homecare.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living tasks, providing basic care, and performing administrative duties in a hospital or care facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer them safely
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, Continuing Care Assistant Certification, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate
Requirements:
