About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Financial Planning to join our team at Tangerine Bank. As a key member of our Canadian Banking Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving our business strategies and objectives forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, high-impact team and report to the CFO of Tangerine Bank
  • Develop and execute business plans and initiatives to support the team's objectives
  • Ensure compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to drive business decisions
  • Own all matters related to treasury, including distribution of product funds transfer pricing (FTP) rates
  • Support deep dives and additional requests into treasury-related items
  • Act as an advocate for Tangerine Bank to ensure accurate value is being ascribed to all assets and deposits
  • Provide financial updates to senior executives and the Tangerine Board of Directors
  • Assist in developing front-end data visualization tools and dashboards
  • Work closely with Scotiabank finance teams to support Tangerine's finance technology roadmap
Requirements
  • Relevant experience at a financial institution in Treasury, Product, Economics, or Finance roles
  • Experience leading complex, multi-faceted projects, process improvement initiatives, and/or technology roadmaps
  • Experience interacting with senior executives on a regular basis
  • Domestic-focused work (Canadian Banking segment)
  • Direct support to Tangerine Executive Leadership Team and key stakeholders across business lines and Canadian Banking Finance
