About the Role

G.M.A. Catering LTD. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Support Services: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week, working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
