Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at the Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and washing walls, windows, and ceilings.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • Building Service Worker Certificate or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
